New Videos Showing iPhone 5C and iPad 5 Casings

Today we have the first leaked video featuring parts from the upcoming iPhone 5C and iPad 5. The first video shows the 5C’s casing in white with a black faceplate. When compared to the iPhone 5, the device looks to sport the same 4 inch display. The back cover shows it’s plastic material reminiscent of the iPhone 3G and 3GS. The plastic shell is mounted on a stainless steel backplate as well, making it very ridged. On the bottom, you can see that Apple is using speaker and microphone grill layout similar to the one found in the 5th generation iPod Touch. The iPhone 5C is expected to be announced September 10th alongside the iPhone 5S

In the second video we see what appears to be an iPad casing similar in size to the 4th generation iPad, however, it is sporting an aluminum backing similar in design featured on the iPad mini. Notably, it shows off the highly anticipated slimmer iPad-mini like design it is expected to launch with. The design differences compared to the 4th generation are both apparent and extremely welcome, and we can’t wait to get our hands on one in person.
