Arts-n-Crafts with BWS

It was quite literally a dark and stormy night recently when we attended an evening of “Arts-n-Crafts” with the team from BWS.

The event was held in the bowels of the old Readers Digest building in Surry Hills which is now home to Woolworths subsidiary Endeavour Drinks Group which covers brands like Dan Murphy’s, BWS, and Cellarmasters to name a few.

Entering the venue is something of a time-warp. The interior of the building contains a lot of exposed concrete and timber and a stunning staircase joining the floors. It’s straight out of the 1960s.

Down into one of the refurbished meeting rooms we went, where a number of tables were set up with easels and blank canvasses. A rainbow of colours were available and we were encouraged to colour the can on our canvas anyway we liked.

Along the way we had a great chat to the BWS team who are doubling down on their craft beer offerings across the country. You will start to see the changes in-store and on advertising from March 13th.

Whilst chatting with the BWS team we imbibed a number of tasty crafts including the Philter XPA with the finale being the BentSpoke Crankshaft which is one of my absolute favourites.

Once we had coloured in our cans were encouraged to festoon the main area of our masterpiece with an appropriate logo.

Thanks again to the team from BWS and keep an eye out for their upped-game in the coming weeks.
