Review: Belkin Power Bank 10K – An Essential Service

Available in black or white with a 10,000 mAh battery and 70+ hours of life it’s not much bigger than a regular-sized smartphone. Where the Power Bank 10K is really impressive is the power-smarts that help get your devices back to life quickly with USB-C Power Delivery technology.

With two ports on the Power Bank 10K you can charge a smartphone with the 18W USB-C port and another device via the 12W regular USB port. With the 18W USB-C port, you can charge your device up to 70% faster than with the pitiful 5W power adapters that come with your devices.

Both Apple and Google have this Power Delivery technology built into their latest devices meaning you get the benefit of rapid-charging right out of the box.

In terms of charging the Power Bank 10K, my experience saw a full recharge from a 5W power adapter via the included USB-C to USB-C cable from flat to 100% (4 LED lights) in about 90 minutes.

The Belkin Power Bank 10K is perfectly sized and weighs only 275g so there’s no excuse not to throw it in the backpack every day.
