Review: Elgato Stream Deck – Fingertip Control For Your PC

I’m no gamer, but I am a multi-tasker when it comes to working at my desk with my Mac and other PCs that we review on a regular basis.

More time spent at working from home and on-the-go means I’ve got all my most used and loved apps open on my MacBook Pro all the time. That means a lot of CMD+Tab (Alt+Tab for PC) action during the day. Thankfully the latest Stream Deck control panel has saved these two keys from any further punishment.

Connected via USB, 15 programmable LCD keys are poised to launch unlimited actions and eliminate the need to map and memorize keyboard shortcuts. One-touch, tactile operation lets you switch scenes, launch media, adjust audio and more, while visual feedback confirms your every command.

YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, Spotify, and IFTTT are all pre-packaged into the Stream Deck. Once the app is installed on your PC, functions built just for you are so easy.

Simply drag and drop actions onto keys, and make them your own with custom icons. Need more actions? Turn keys into folders to amass and access as many actions as you want. Better yet, save unique key configurations as dedicated profiles for different games and apps, switch between them on the fly, and share them with fellow creators.

Stream Deck also comes with an adjustable stand and if you’re super keen, it can also be wall mounted.
