ASUS Officially Takes Over Intel NUC Product Lines

ASUS TAKES ON MANUFACTURING OF THE HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL INTEL NUC RANGE

ASUS now manufactures and sells Intel NUC 10th to 13th generation product lines and will develop future NUC systems.

Intel Corporation and ASUS recently confirmed the transfer of Intel® Next Unit of Computing (NUC) product lines to ASUS. ASUS will now be responsible for manufacturing and selling Intel NUC 10th to 13th-generation systems and developing future NUC systems. These small-form-factor devices or compute elements are customizable and are suitable for businesses, edge computing, and gaming.

A Smooth Transition

On September 1, ASUS began taking orders for their NUC 10th to 13th generation systems. This has been made possible following Intel’s official handover. This new enterprise is opening up a range of promising possibilities for the company and customers have transitioned smoothly. The ASUS NUC Business Unit’s aim is to provide edge computing that is both effective and equipped with AIoT solutions to support the industry.

Jackie also expressed appreciation for the Intel NUC team, who have joined the ASUS NUC Business and will enhance the R&D capabilities of ASUS, particularly in software and cloud computing. ASUS has been given hardware and software licenses from Intel. This new venture will help extend ASUS’ R&D, logistics, and tech support and will apply to various use cases, such as professional and AI programmers, governments, enterprises, small and medium-sized businesses, edge computing, and industrial applications.
